Ello good sirs. Ghostbusters, and Braxtanfilm fans alike. I’ve recently had success making my own DVD of Return of the Ghostbusters, and two others for friends of mine. I’ve received feedback from them, and they dig it! Why am I telling you this? I'm offering to make copies for anyone who wants one. The film is the high picture quality divX file, well here's everything included in the DVD -

Return of the Ghostbusters DVD

The film, which is in wide-screen, also it has chapter selection

1 trailer

Soul2Soul Music Video

About to Bust Music Video

And a slide-show of various Magazine covers from the film

Far as the menu on the DVD, it's as simple as they come. I have the Soul-Soul song playing in the back ground (link to the full sized image) -

Now this is how the whole ordeal is going to work – we’ll contend with business through PM, you can ask questions here on the thread if you want. If you prefer to do things by email, email address is ark_of_chaos@bak.rr.com. Please put “ROTGB DVD” as the subject title of the email. As you understand, I CANNOT charge a fee for these DVDs. So yeah it's (everyones favorite word) free. Once I receive your address, and burn your copy, you will receive the DVD with a case and cover art. The cover art I used on my own copy is this -

If you desire different cover art, simply tell me and send me a link to a high res image of the one you want me to use. There are plenty of choices on this forum.

AND

Freddy vs Ghostbusters DVD

You think that was it? Nope. I manged to make a decent DVD for ROTGB, so why not Freddy vs Ghostbusters? So yeah, offering FvGB DVDs too. Film is in wide screen, and it's the directors cut that's available here on the site. Picture quality is good, same as the site's. The special features are the alternate endings, they aren't available on the site anymore, so I had to get them off of youtube, and their quality is...well it ain't horrible. They aren't unwatchable in any means.

Screen cap of menu (again link to full sized image) -

So shoot me a PM, or an email if you want one, or both, I also offer a two disk pack. I feel as if I can't say it enough - the DVDs are free, and I'll cover shipping. Obviously I can't keep this service going forever, it'll last as long as I have the disks, cases, and envelops that I send them in in-stock. And putting money out to replenish it all won't be a priority. For the time being I have quite a bit of everything.

But I will have you pay for postage only, which will be $1.88. Also I require you to send your own DVD+R, I've been using Sony, so I would feel more comfortable if you get that brand. I'm sure others would work, but hey, rather be safe than sorry. You will receive the DVD with a case and cover art. The cover art I used on my own copy is this -

I'm pretty the $1.88 thing is still a problem. You can probably get away with asking people to send you a self-addressed-stamped-envelope and the  blank dvd. But if ANY money exchanges hands (regardless of whether you're technically not profiting) then there's a problem.

We don't have any problems with this at all. Just make sure you don't do anything illegal, as it will be your responsibility not ours. Otherwise enjoy!

I more than understand the whole copyright thing, and that it would be illegal making a profit on the DVDS. But, I'm getting the feeling you two seem unsure about the people paying for postage. I guess I don't have to have people pay for it and just do the entire thing for free.

The only DVD listings I am finding are for my own. Everything else on there seems to be the original Divx file. Though many of those say "DvD rip" they are not DVD images.

I used the first one on the list, I used my seeding program and everything worked fine. The film looks like it has a good picture, like it's high quality. I probably got the divx one.

Edit: Ultimately I decided it was better to just do the whole thing for free. Plus, I don't have to worry about anything.

You know what really bums me out about this movie?  We had a guy shooting behind the scenes stuff...and he vanished.  I've been thinking about getting a documentary done.  Anyone out there with the tools and the talent...I would be happy to provide you with materials.

Hope someone comes through for ya, Mr. braxtan.

Anyway-

Good news everyone! I got my FvGB DVD made, and thus the ability to make FvGB DVDs. Again, it's a really simplistic menu, and the special features are the two alternate endings. Film is in widescreen, and it's the director's cut thats been made available on the website. I'll try to get a screen cap of the menu, I know the last one I posted of the RotGB DVD menu was fairly small, maybe I'll just provide a link to a larger image.

So yeah, if you want a FvGB DVD just let me know!

No worries about shipping costs, as light as these buggers are, I'm not worried about it. Just need your name and address and you'll receive the DvD, all you have to do is enjoy. Also, about the region code, incase if you thought about it, the program I used to make the dvd - it automatically makes it able to play in all regions. I should probably add that tidbit in the first post I made, lol.

Thanks to Ty Fire I am finally able to watch ROTGb's on my my 32in (TV)

The picture is fine, the sound is fine, there are no pauses, skips or other annoying things that usually happen with netfilm downloaded dvd burns and i even got extras (2 music videos)

And even after offering 3 times I didn't have to pay anything (not even the postage, and I live in the UK so it was about $6 just for that)

If you're as technolgically challenged as I am and want this baby on dvd just ask Ty and he'll hook you up with a freebie.

Thanks Ty

Thanks for the DVDs.  Only had time to watch FvGB but it was awesome to have them on the shelf.  Looked fine.
