I'm a mod on here now. So, I intermittently come on here to make sure there's no spam. Also, I make sure I don't miss new fan films in production. Not to mention the small hope of seeing you make a post saying 'hey I'm making another GB fan film'. I hope to make my own decent fan film someday, and this will be the first place I post information.

I check it every once and a while to see if any forum members post any new projects. Also, since I don't think I'll have the resources to open my own website for my fan film project, I'll be posting information here when the time is right (I'm 50% through production at the moment)

It'd be nice to get some serious traffic here again. I feel like I joined at the wrong time, when everything was starting to die.

Yeah, it would be nice. Unfortunately I don't see that happening. I mean, really, the owner of the site doesn't even bother with it anymore, haha. Things slowly began to die a long time ago. You joined well after the fatal shot was fired. Tongue

What do you mean you don't have the resources to open your own site? If it's a matter of design or otherwise, I may be able to help. I'm a graphic designer. I do logos, t-shirts, general design, web design as well as video stuff (which was my reason for joining this site in the first place). So if I can be of service, let me know and maybe we can arrange something.

What happens when you find one in production? Do you stop 'em cold, Terminator style?  Wink

It's a matter of getting the resources together - I'm not sure whether or not I'd have the budget to host a website, let alone have one professionally designed. But it might be in the cards, and if it is I would love your help.

That's a shame- I envisioned him spotting a Star Trek fan film in production, and kicking down the door. He announces that the film is going to suck, so he's putting an end to it and commences smashing all the props and equipment. They try to stop him, but the Vulcan neck pinch has no basis in reality. However, his counterattack- the Earthling nuts kick- works perfectly and he leaves a half-dozen Trekkies in ill-fitting Starfleet uniforms all curled up in the fetal position, holding what they wrongly perceive to be their uteruses and groaning about how they got whacked right in the photon torpedoes.   cheesy

Well, don't worry too much about the price, I'm a design student trying to build my portfolio a little more, so it would be fairly inexpensive (this doesn't mean the site wouldn't be well-done, it's just beneficial to both parties Cheesy). I may be able to help with hosting as well, if that's an issue.

Anyway, if you ever need any design work done for anything, not just websites, I'd be more than happy to help.

Well that might work out well then! I made a post about my film in the Indie Films section, so you can see what this is all about. But I would definitely be interested in talking more about a website and hosting!

We have a film in the works. Just finished an awesome script, and we'll be shooting in December.

Unfortunately for some people...it's not a Ghostbusters fan film.

Still, you will enjoy it...
