So I've been sorting out the updates, and been busy working... but here some stuff GB:Uk related... well sort of...

A little while back I shot a short Fanfilm with some of the guys from the Uk Ghostbusters called 'UK:GB'

Well whilst we are still struggling along with the VFX I figured I'd post up some stills

SHould have my GB:UK update in a few days... It's never been more alive

Pros:

Real Ecto looks great.

Decent visuals

Cons:

No creativity, basically a lifted scene from the original.

5 ghostbusters and no black guy? I know you have them over there. lol.

I'm hoping the feature has more to look forward to. If it is just your version of the original I'll be very disappointed.

(I feel I can critique seeing as my silhouette is your avatar. lol.) Don't let me down, be creative, especially since your using someone else's material.

Hey Weiss,

I agree fully on the creativity, the main thing was to basically do a version of that for the guys as they are all the fans of the films. Trust me when I say with GB:UK, I had the goal of staying true to what makes Ghostbusters good, but coming up with newer different takes on things, and new things in general, plus it is a very english film

5 ghostbusters and no black guy? I know you have them over there. lol. Yes we do... sadly none of the ones I know can act! or even bare to be infront of a camera Sad

I promise you wont be disappointed.

(I feel I can accept your critique seeing as your silhouette is my avatar.)

I liked a great majority of the shots, they looked great! Though I do think you used too many of them during their entrance. To me the climbing of the stairs seemed too drawn out.

The acting was terrible.

I did like the Ecto, and the visuals, so that makes up for it in SOME sense. You, sir, are a great filmmaker. Your actors probably should have been better thought out.

well the reason for this is, they arent actors, they are just part of a costume group.

They did an OK job in my opinion, I've cut professional actors who were far worse.

But for a thing we shot with less than 24hours notice, it turned out pretty well

Yeah, I noticed Ben King was part of the group. Anyway, I agree, for a short notice shoot it worked out really well. I also forgot to mention the audio though. I know it was because of the building, but I'm sure you could have thought of a way to fix it. Smiley

As a whole, I liked the short a lot and I'm really looking forward to the feature length movie. Cheesy
