Am I the only person who really doesn't like improv groups? They come off to me as being really sad. "Hi! We're quirky! Pay to see us!"

Also weren't the interiors of the library shot in LA? Just saying...

There aren't any improv groups near me, but I've got friends who live in larger cities who send me clips from their groups. I'm never impressed... >_>

It's one thing to do improv as part of like an acting class. It's another to say "hey pay $5 to watch me and some friends of mine who aren't good enough to get into a real play just make it up as we go along".

Really? You couldn't just write a one-act play about a barber and his hair-eating-man-child-lover? You have to make it up as you go along? I mean when they come out and say "I will doing this, and he will be doing this" then they definitely put some thought into where these "scenes" could go. So why not just write it?

My apologies to anybody who might be in an improv troupe, but prove me wrong.

Maybe they can't remember lines, so they think making it up will help. And while I must admit that not everyone can get up and make stuff up out of nowhere on the spot...yeah, maybe you should learn how to memorize lines instead and gain some credibility.

Just because it was improv, did they have to use those damn inflatable packs? I really hate those.
