District 9 - BRUNO - Star Trek - Now On DVD! $5.00

What's up dudes. I been a longtime fan of Braxtan's, use to have an older account on here, believe it was "Mitchysland" but, forgot the password. Haven't been on in awhile, stopped coming once Braxtan left us for Hollywood! Lol. Jk, jk. But really, he stopped updating on a daily basis, so I just started drifting as well. But now I'm back, just letting you know I'm not trying to spam the boards!
I am... although in dire need of some help from anyone interested.
I currently live in the HEART of the VALLEY, in California, where unemployment is at it's HIGHEST in the NATION! I was laid-off last year an since, have not been able to get rehired, there are 10,000 people in my city alone looking for work, an they only hire 11 people a month! So, I need some extra cash, as my unemployment just ran out a while back.
I have, movies, unreleased on DVD and released on DVD, for only $5.00! These movies are all 10/10 on quality, and audio, and are ripped from the ORIGINAL DVD DISC! I buy the discs from a local flea market, then rip em. Usually, newly released DVD's go for $15.00 first week, then $20-25.00 after that, Wal-Mart price. So you save easily, $20.00 on each DVD. An they haven't come out yet! I have movies, such as...
Year One - 2009
District 9 - 2009
FIGHTING - 2009
Star Trek - 2009
The Hangover - 2009
Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past - 2009
Winged Creatures "Fracture" - 2009
UP - 2009
Ice Age 3: Dawn of The Dinosaurs - 2009
Terminator Salvation - 2009
State Of Play - 2009
Road Trip: Beer Pong - 2009
XMEN Origins - 2009
Blood & Bone - 2009
Dance Flick - 2009
The Last Resort - 2009
Dragonball Z: Evolution (The Movie) - 2009
Street Fighter: Legend Of Chung-Li - 2009
Race To Witch Mountain - 2009
Night @ The Musuem 2 - 2009
HALO WARS - 2009
Drag Me To Hell - 2009
Last House On The Left - 2009
BRUNO - 2009
The Prodigy - 2009
The Informer - 2009
Aliens In The Attic - 2009
Aliens VS Monsters - 2009
My Life In Ruins - 2009
Blood The Last Vampire - 2009
Pig Hunt - 2008
The Shortcut - 2009
Daddy Cool - 2009
Diamond Dawgs - 2009
FOX - 2009
Away We Go - 2009
Toxic Skies - 2008
Kissan - 2009
Luck - 2009
Shrink - 2009
Ask for SCREENSHOTS of quality if you want, but like mentioned, the quality of the DVD's are IDENTICAL to store-bought DVD's. NO SCAMS, NO CAMS!
If you haven't heard of the movie, don't think you don't want to see it. Sometimes you forget the previews you seen, so look em up on IMDB.COM. I also have SEASONS on television shows available. Such as TRUEBLOOD, LOST, HEROES, PRISON BREAK, ETC. I also have other movies not mentioned, just request em... if they came out in our lifetime, I have it, chances are.

Stanislaus Valley, Modesto. Why? Wow, haven't heard from you in awhile, how have you been, still working for Scifi? That's about the last time I heard about you, lol... probably not with them anymore, huh? Did you ever get rid of your XL, I was talking to you through email about buying it at one time...

Actually, I am selling you the backup copy, by purchasing, you agree you have the original, and I am just selling you your 1 backup, your legally allowed to have. As for your statement about killing the industry, is that some sort of sick joke, or are you serious? You think the industry is losing so much money from bootleggers, that it hurts them? Joke, right? The industry makes 60% profit in the first weeks release, before you count the following weeks, before you count merchandise sales, and before you count Bluray and DVD sales. So, what exactly is hurting them? On average, an these statistics are up to date, from Forbes, Hollywood profits 600% of what it spent by the time the DVD/Bluray sales have come to a halt. Meaning, after Batman Begins is released, an its been on the new release wall for a good 3 months, an sales are reeaaallly slow, at that point in time, they have profited 600%.
You must be a complete idiot. Do some research. That's like saying, "Counting cards at a Casino is illegal, an your killing the Casino's brotha!" Really? Because Casino's make there entire rent, utilities, and money spent in 1 night, from the slot machines alone, for an entire month. That doesn't count rooms, other machines, blackjack, poker tables, drinks, food, etc.
Trust me, bootleggers aren't hurting anything. An the way I see it, if a person buy s aBOOTLEG DVD that tells me they werent planning to purchase the original anyways. So eitherway, the "Industry" wasn't going to make that money from that particular customer. But dont worry, the "Industry" has plenty more customers who will pay the ridiculous $20.00 cover-charge on each DVD, which only costs 3cents to make. How much profit is $20.00 to 3cents? Now tell me again, who am I hurting?
Lmao... kids.

PS: You said you have NO PROBLEM downloading a film... but you have a problem with selling, because it hurts the industry. How does that makes any sense? That's like an oxymoron. You do realize, by "DOWNLOADING" the film, you are hurting the industry yourself, by not purchasing the film. Right? LMAO! Damned dude, you need to get back on your meds. No offense. So your telling me, it's ok to download a film but not sell it, because when you sell it, you take away from those companies, such as Dreamworks, Lionsgate, Etc? Ok, so, riddle me this...
If 100 people stood on this Earth. An all 100 downloaded movies, then the movie industry would still be afloat because they are not selling them? NO! The movie industry would go bankrupt because those 100 people didnt buy the movie! Furthermore, if 50 people downloaded it an sold there copy to the reminding 50 people on Earth, then, AGAIN... no profit is being made. So according to your idiotic theory, you should have a problem with YOURSELF!
In my case, I actually BUY the ORIGINAL dvd, I dont DOWNLOAD it, like you. So in actuality, I'm giving back to the industry more then you are, because I'm actually legitly BUYING my first copy, so I'm putting $20.00 in there pocket, your downloading it, so your taking your $20.00 an spending it elsewhere. I have a problem...... simply..... with you. LMAO!

Good thing you're not a lawyer cuz you'd suck at it.
"Actually, I am selling you the backup copy, by purchasing, you agree you have the original, and I am just selling you your 1 backup, your legally allowed to have."
You are selling back-ups. No matter HOW you change it, that's selling illegal copies. You can make a back up for your own.
Read: MAKE one for your OWN.
Not: Make more to sell them.
PS: If someone had a DVD, why would they buy the back up from you?
On another note. Bruno, District 9 and Star Trek are not out on DVD yet, so yeah... how are you straight talking that?
And your casinos card counting thing is a bullshit comparison. Card counting is incredibly hard to do, and something you have to put alot of time and money in for it to be reasonably profitable. IE: Not every jackass can do it, and most who try end up going home broke.

And you shot yourself in the foot, you put 20 bucks in their pocket but you just said firstly that you buy them from a flea market.
Also, how can you buy an original DVD thats not out yet?
Also
HALO WARS - 2009

[1] Just listen to Weiss, and let it be what it is. Lol. You statement was ridiculous to make from the get-go.
[2] I said I was purchasing them from the Fela-Market because I dont know what kind of people browse these boards, I havent been here for awhile as stated above. I dont want to say where I get them, an then end up getting in trouble, so I just take the safe-route an say Flea-Market, but as I can see, nobody really trips here. I still wont say where I get them though...
[3] Counting cards and bootlegging is different and one is extremely hard, but that wasn't the point, moron. The point was, that both the Casino and Hollywood are extremely rich and a few cheaters along the way wont interrupt business flow, or even make a dent in it. I apologize you cant comprehend morals to stories, next time I will make it more clear to you, I figured your common-sense factor would kick in. But then again, why would I think that basing off your original reply?
[4] People who sell bootlegs end up home broke? Incorrect, I actually know about 2 in my area, an if you went to there car (They sell out of the WalMart parking lot) if they popped there trunk for you, you'd literally see over 1,400 DVDs, tell me there broke? $5.00 a copy, 1,400 sales, do that math. Some people do this as a living, some do it to get by until a job offer comes, which is my case. Those who decide to make it a career, are not home broke, trust me, like I originally said, more research.
[5] I am selling the back up copy. I do fault myself on this statement. I wasn't being SERIOUS when I said it. If you go to iOffer, which is like eBay, thats what people put in there listing to be safe, because on that site, they sell bootlegs. They have the more technical term for it, but I didnt want to bust out my handy-dandy copy/pate. I just said it to be an a**hole to you, an again, just to cover my ass. Of course my copies are not being sold as backups... it was more an a**hole statement then anything. But like I said, I didn't put LOL, I didnt put JK, I didnt even hint towards it being a rude remark, not to be taken serious, therefore, I can understand where you would find I was actually using it as a legit source. But I assure you, when the statement was written, I wasnt at all trying to go that direction...
[6] I do pay $20.00 a copy... that wasn't a lie. We dont even have a flea-market over here, that sells bootlegs.
[7] There are ways to buy original DVD's that are not out yet. For example, know somebody who works at a Blockbuster type rental place, but not Blockbuster, more of a business they started themselves.
Other then the fact that I said I was selling backups, your reply was just... owned, again. An no, I wouldnt be a sh*tty lawyer, because the only thing I said that was sh*tty was the backup statement, which I already cleared as not even being a serious statement, def. not one I would use in court. An I also find it funny that you DIDNT EVEN ADDRESS the fact that downloading them is just as harmful to the industry.
But then again, why would you address the fact? You were wrong, an you have no rebuttal. Downloading it, is stealing it as well... good thing your not working for the studios, otherwise, you'd be a really bad agent who catches people bootlegging. (Sorry, had to throw in there for the lawyer comment, ahahha)
Bootlegger: "Sir, I downloaded my copy of District 9, but I assure you, I didn't sell any copies!"
JackDaniels: "Well, as long as you didnt sell any, its not stealing!"

Wow, I can't believe I actually read this whole arguement LOL.
All I can say is, if you're litterally desperate for money, I guess It's better than stealing out of a shop (which affects the shop owner and their profits)
You just need to aknowledge the long term affects if you get caught, you get slammed with a massive fine and usually prison.
So, best save some of the cash you make just incase... I hear its $250,000 in the US, though I may be wrong.

MUSE32: Something I have def. thought about. But, in this city, unemployment is at it's highest in the nation, I believe topping out at a record breaking 12.3%. So at this point, anything seems better then nothing, you know? Something to get by, an as JackDaniels stated, anyone can burn/copy movies, even an idiot... so why not take the easy job to get by? Let it be known, Im an official idiot, lol... but this idiots making rent! Theres a few bootleggers in this town that I know... not been caught yet, but thats the thing, not "yet". Eventually it all catches up, hopefully this is as temporary as I think it will be for me. Not something I want to make a living out of like others.
As for your statement bout stealing from shops, agreed %100. I much rather steal from Hollywood... as much as they have stolen from us. Karma is the way I see it, lol. I believe the little disclaimer does say $250,000... hefty fine, but I'm sure a good lawyer, or any lawyer for that matter, can get that reduced, as for the federal prison time, I doubt, lol. Chances we take though. Hopefully my lawyer is smarter then me, because I hear if I became a lawyer, I'd suck at it.
Gwahaha.

Good thing I'm not an agent, but a writer/director/actor
Not in Hollywood no, but hell, that's a long shot seeing as I'm from a whole different country. I write, direct and act in a sketch comedy show airing weekly in the Netherlands. Too bad the pay is shit
I didn't mean to attack you in my first comment, just point something out, I still stand by my point, what you're doing is illegal.
And I wasn't talking about bootleggers going home broke, but people who try to count cards and fail at it.

I have both Freddy vs. Ghostbusters and Return of the Ghostbusters on DVD. Both are high in quality and are loaded with special features. I'll sell each movie for $10, and that includes box art and plastic protector case. Buy both movies from me and I'll throw in a bunch of Braxtan's Anthology shorts for FREE.
Hurry, offer good while supplies last...

There are RotGB DVDs with special features out there....
My RotGB DVDs HAVE special features.
I was at the premiere and afterparty in Denver. I brought a video camera.
That footage is on my copies.
Then for another RotGB DVD made by a member here, I helped the guy make a special feature based on the "tie in" Denver GB comic book.

Sure, next time I'm at my studio I'll burn you a copy. I also have tons of pictures from that day and I have sent them to Scott. I think Scott was complieing a photo album or something of that day.
It's been awhile though.
Just sent Tim a cool RoTGB package, he should get it any day now.
