On Friday, August 28, from 6 to 10 p.m., Untitled #24 (Crossbones) goes to the dark side with Ouija boards, bedazzled bone art and creepy tales.

Activities include Museum conservation expert Gina Laurin telling tales of otherworldly encounters with art objects—ghosts, hauntings, even spirits. Creepy art-world supplies will be on hand for visitors to bling out their own bones. Guests can take a detour with Madame Bernardini to connect with art world spirits. Bernardini will use Ouija boards to “contact” dead artists and ask them guests’ most pressing questions.

Colorado X Case Files pits skeptics against paranormal researchers. They’ll face off, exposing common myths and confirming the existence of the unexplainable. Don’t miss their talk at 9:15 p.m. as they divulge Denver’s ghostly hot spots and explain the science behind ghost hunting. Asian art curator Ronald Otsuka gives a mini-talking to about the afterlife depicted in Asian art. Discuss Eastern philosophy and reincarnation with our in-house expert.

A special screening of Return of the Ghostbusters starts at 6:15 p.m. in Sharp Auditorium. Written and directed by Hank Braxtan, the feature-length film is a unique, fan-made experience. The mile high city is rocked when an ancient Egyptian menace comes to town and the Denver Ghostbusters must save the universe once more. The entire movie was filmed in Denver and contains some local Ghostbusters fanatics.

Good times.  Hopefully they'll be playing our next movie there as well...
