Do you like Johnny Depp? Do you support independent film? Would you like to be an executive producer of one of the most innovative indie films in years? Here’s your chance, and all it takes is a little bit of green, and a registered email address. A fellow Denver filmmaker and good friend of mine, Haylar Garcia, is attempting to raise money for his documentary, entitled “Do it for Johnny”. It’s really a brilliant idea, in which Haylar and his loyal band of followers plan to deliver a custom built guitar to Mr. Depp himself, along with the script for their independent film “Narcophonic”, which is attached to the back of the guitar.
This is where you come in. What Mr. Garcia is doing, is auctioning off (yes auctioning off) executive producer credits in the film. The madness can all be found on eBay, and there are three opportunities to get in on this project. Check them out below:

Hank, if I had $8,000 I would buy it now. But I'm 15 so I don't.
NOW if my MOM had the money she'd be buying all 3 positions b4 you could say "Monkey Shit" and she'd want to be there when they take the guitar to him.
She loves Johnny prolly more than my Dad at times.

Just bid away, guys! The reserve is like $5000.00, so you won't win--don't worry. In fact, if a few of you would bid up to like 2 grand, it would make this thing look good. Do not worry, you will NOT have to pay unless you bid the reserve price of 5 grand. I can assure you, I know the guy doing it!

Yeah... so I went and bid $4999.99... j/k... I wouldn'y bid that unless you (hank) actually said that the reserve is exactly $5000.00...
On a side note... Did you know that Johnny Depp played lead guitar in Ozzy Osbourne's studio release of "Perry Mason"? Well... he didn't, Zakk Wylde did... But Depp did play slide guitar on the Oasis song "Fade In-Out" from their 1997 release "Be here now".

Guys, seriously--bid like 4 grand. The reserve is 5 grand and it even says so in the auction. If you bid 4, you can't be charged. I just talked with Haylar and he said it would help publicity a ton if you would. I may bid too, as long as I'm not the name that's shown as the high bidder.
