Typical. Stage6 is shutting down in 3 days. Which means that once again, we will be losing about 100k hits on ROTGB, further making the effort to get on IMDb difficult if not impossible.
So...anyone know of another site comparable to Divx?

I just signed up over at Vimeo. Not quite the same as Stage6, but they allow up to 500 Mb of uploads a week. I'm not sure about time limits and such, but I'm gonna look into it. Hopefully, the existing sites for high quality upload will try to emulate Stage6's model, but I imagine the server costs were part of Stage6's problems and it might just not be viable to give people unlimited high quality uploads at this point.
Sorry about the bad news. You just can't get a break.

is there anyway to document the hits before it goes down?
what about just uploading the whole thing to youtube as a possibility?

What ever happened to that one website that hosted the Freddy vs. Ghostbusters Directors Cut movie? Youtube wouldn't be the best place for the movie. It's too big and too long. To fit it to YouTube's standards, you would have to break it up several times or reduce the quality. Which would make everything look like poo...

FvGB-DC was still smaller than ROTGB. I think that it was John's site that hosted it.(labrat)
I don't think documenting the hits means anything, that'd be like depositing photocopied money.

Sad, isn't it? In this day and age of digital image manipulation, you can't even prove you got the high score on Donkey Kong without making a fucking documentary about it...

I thought about the print screen thing...but it's unlikely to work. IMDb won't even accept my official certificate from the Academy for an Emmy nomination.

What? How does that make any sense?

For a circle in Cartesian coordinates where A represents the area, ∃! r = pi: A(r) = r (pi) 2IMDb won't even accept my official certificate from the Academy for an Emmy nomination.
What? How does that make any sense? A=r(pi) 2
