Hey Braxtan, I'd like to know if there are going to be subtitles available to download, and if you ever do it may I volunteer to subtitle it in portuguese for you guys? This film is just awesome and as a moviemaker myself I feel compelled to have a part helping the advertising of this project. Great work.

P.S. doing my best to spread the word, and hopefully spread it in portuguese too. Cheesy

I don't plan on releasing any subtitles.  If someone wants to subtitle the film and put it online, then great.  But it's more work than I'm willing to do!

I see, well I'm willing to do it. Could you send me the lines of the movies through e-mail so I can start the translation?

What he means is you'll have to do it entirely on your own. You'll have to do it from the audio.

Why can't we just send him a script?

Do you really think the script is accurate to the final cut of the film?

1) See Richard's answer

and 2) I'm not spending one more dime on this thing, not even for postage, no offense.

I actually think it's good idea to have a subtitles version. It will get more people to watch it who are deaf.

As Manvsbear points out, it may not be accurate to the script. I am sure there are few lines the actors did not say word by word from the script. Even I don't remember word by word from few scripts I have read.

Also there was few scenes pasted into the movie. For example, people on the couch.

So it should be done though the audio.

Can't believe this came to be such a big deal. Yeah I just needed the script so I could make sure what I'm writing, not that I was gonna put exactly what's on script but just for some sort of safeproof. Some lines are not easy to understand from the P.O.V of a non-native speaker. Really didn't expect this kind of behavior nor this kind of answer. Sorry for bothering you and taking your precious time with this thread.

What about a Braille version for the blind? Don't want to discriminate, do we? Wink

No offense, but I get requests all the time for the script or whatever else.  Very rarely does anyone actually do something with it--so that is a waste of time.

I have said before that I plan on putting the script online eventually, I just haven't got around to it yet.

Well, I guess not too many people are big fans of subtitles. But I do like your idea though.

I hate subtitles, personally.  But I think it's a great idea to subtitle the film, and I appreciate the efforts of other people. All I'm saying is, I don't really have time to do it myself.  I mean, I don't even have time to get the DVD done right now...

We look like assholes to a guy who was just trying to broaden the appeal of the movie. Shame shame.

The pony express IS quite expensive, and logically the only way to send information across the globe.
