With a fresh script and storyline, THE NIGHT STALKER is finally starting filming. The cast is willing to do a bunch for the film. And hopefully, if we do good in YouTube, we will be releasing it onto DVD for sale. And the money that comes from the DVD sales, will go towards the next film.

If anybody wants to help by viewing the early cut of the film and tell us what to change, and help us, please respond on this topic.

THE FOLLOWING IS THE REVISED STORYLINE....
Darryl Atkins was the geek of the class. He was picked on by both jocks and cheerleaders. He could take it until the night of the big year end dance, where he was humiliated beyond belief. Three years later, the guys and girls behind the prank are having another year end dance. Slowly, but surely, each of the kids are picked off one by one by a masked killer. Darryl has returned years later to get revenge for the horrible event that was plagued upon him. Will anyone survive the bloodbath?

I'll probably change the title. Don't know.

Thanks, guys. What I'm really trying to do is to do a slasher film that pays tribute to great 80s slashers like The Burning, The Prowler, and Graduation Day.

I'll be making a pretty good script. I'll be posting it onto YouTube when it's finished.
Plus, I will post screenshots. It may not be in as great quality as you hope. It'll be shot on a HandyCam.
And I'll be releasing a HD Torrent of the film onto the net.

So does anybody got ideas for a different title?

You could do that.

Or, you could post just the trailer on YouTube and offer the movie in its entirety on DVD if you think you have a marketable product. That way, you can stick to your original plan to raise money for your next film.

Actually, you may want to show a small portion of the movie, or maybe a highlights reel. Or, you could upload most of the movie, but leave off the ending- so people that want to see how it ends will have to buy the DVD! (Probably a nasty idea, but hell, you gotta make your money back somehow!)

When I say percentage, basically the site charges a fee for each DVD that sells- I've found that the percentage is around $4 or $5- so that means you'll want to charge more than that, obviously.

I've looked around that site, and most people are charging about $15-$20 for a DVD.

The only catch that I've found so far is that Filmbaby charges $40 for the first time you submit a movie, per title...

...but I also found another site that doesn't seem to have that fee:

So far, I found that you can upload your film to the site and (I think) charge people to download it! (I'm still researching that, so don't take that as fact yet.) Again, this site also charges a percentage, but you set the price for buyers anyway.
