I've pretty much had it up to here with all the negativity on the youtube trailer page.  I've been getting annoyed for some time with all the stupid trolls who feel like they need to insult the film, it's creators, and anyone who likes it.  Now some dumb moron is going around giving thumbs down to all positive comments and thumbs up to all the negative ones (well, not all of them, just the ones on the first couple of pages).  Unfortunately, I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done.  I'm sure any sort of response to their crap only fuels them on.

Anyway, sorry for the rant, I just felt the need to vent.

There is always the option to "block users from commenting", but that has to be done by the account owner.  Personally, I would disable comments...because usually what happens is...once you get a popular video, it gets spammed alot.  And people will post links to porn or something in the comment area.

Here's the problem with the comments on YouTube and I wish they will get rid of it.

When you do a search on videos, you can click on what is the "most discussed" videos on YouTube.

So what happens is, sometimes the people who upload the videos on the Internet, they don't care what comments get posted on their video. As long as there's lots of comments on the video, they don't care.

We can solve lots of problems with the comments on the videos if YouTube just get rid of the "most discussed" option.

Once YouTube do that, I think people that own the video will start to deleting comments that is not any good.

No, I guess I'm just losing some of my patience with the internet.  Some people get used to all the trolls on the net over time, but for some people it just wears down on your patience.  I'm just going to have to ignore the YouTube page, because I find the trolls to be extremely obnoxious.

Anyway, whenever I have attempted to defend the movie in the past, it hasn't been on a basis of "this is the greatest movie ever!  What are you talking about?" or whatever, it's just been to try to get the naysayers to be less rude/mean/etc about it.  I'm just going to have to ignore it from now on though, because it's never going to stop (and the chances of actually getting through to anyone are slim to nil anyway).
