I did not like the hat part at the end when somehow the doors "blew open" and in came indy's hat it was a painful corny ending. Also
indy never got ANYTHING at the end Nothing was accomplished all they managed to do was help ET go home no idol no gold nothing.

He got a woman...

apparently that accounts for nothing...

Indy never gets anything he sets out for. After watching it for the 6th time it's really grew on me(it still doesn't hold a candle to any of the other three), it was fun to watch. Plus how can i not enjoy my favorite hero of all time back on the screen!

Yea, when in ANY of the previous films does Indy walk away with what he really wanted?

The Ark got taken to Area 51 and he wasnt allowed to examine it. Indy walked away with a more humble sense of himself... and Marion (obviously only for a short period of time)

Two of the three stones fell into the river and were probably lost for good, then he gave up the third to the villagers because it was THEIR stone. Indy walked away with a better sense of the kind of archeologist he needed to become... and Willie (obviously for an even shortER period of time)

The Grail fell into the chasm. Indy's relationship with his father was repaired for the rest of his life... And the chick fell into the chasm with the Grail.

The Crystal Skull went back where it came from and Indy got to marry "the one who got away" in his life AND discover his son. Some SANE people would say thats a better deal.

Compairing KotCS to the other indy flicks, I don't think Indy ever fired his pistol in the movie.

Speaking of guns, both the hero indy gun and a few soldier's colt 45s were bought from a gun dealer in Lexington, KY.

That's funny that no matter where I go I hear one common thing in all criticism of Indy 4:  George Lucas' involvement.  I think that he should have been stripped of all decision making powers because he obviously killed Indy 4 when it could have been a great flick.

Indy 4 == just another Lucastard-fest.

Watch it turn out that it was Spielberg's idea to make it about Aliens...

I mean he's not infallible he did direct Lost World: Jurassic Park, A.I., & War of the Worlds...

-edit-

PLEASE NOTE, I dissed JP2 not the original JP. (Which I still think could have been better if they hugged the book a little closer)

It was Lucas' idea and he is a retard. There is a couple interview that say he had to force it down Ford and Spielberg's throught, they laughed when he first pitched the idea.

They're going to make anotherone because it's made so much money, it has the second biggest memorial day earnings since P3.

So yeah after checking out Indy again.

Indy does NOT fire his gun. He almost does, he cocks it and aims at the weird native in the night, but that's the first and last time you see Indy's gun.

Go. Away. The LAST thing this movie needs is supporters like YOU pitching your two-cents... Everyone is so up-in-arms about the movie and its really sad that nobody can enjoy ANYTHING that comes out nowadays.
