Awesome post, man--thanks.

But I will have some good news here soon.

You saved money on your car insurance after switching to Gieko? This would be good news...especially after running that red light. Cheesy

I think I can wait for it - there's plenty to see at the cinema and I've still got Camp Nightmare to shoot (casting over the net is a nigtmare - so many email requests for the script it crazy)

You will wait for that.  Because in September, I'll be releasing as slew of goodies to keep everyone entertained including a new trailer (with release date), comic book, behind the scenes, and a few other surprises.

Yessir, that's the plan.  Hopefully when this film is done, we'll get an original feature off the ground.  It's a comedy/slasher/zombie film.

wicked, look forward to seeing that, you planning on making money off your original piece? like a first step towards profit making? Smiley i wouldnt mind entering a screenplay writing competition, but i hate having to send cash off, incase its a scam lol think i might just look for people wanting to shoot the type of film i'm writing Smiley

If it's a labor of love you can minimize the costs...but there are other costs besides monetary.  You have to factor your time and sanity into it.

someday i'd like to start making movies but maybe in a good couple of years, the main thing i find hard would be getting people to be involved, best to have a good number of friends too, like actors etc.

When I release an original feature, it won't be available for download.  The goal is to get DVD distribution.
