I find that magazine covers are much more difficult to actually do than movie posters. Mainly because I like to be as original as possible and you have to ask your self what magazine would the Ghostbusters even be featured on and have it make sense, and what hasn't already been done?

The mad one was a good mag cover!

Look at this anna nichole tragedy or 911. Then think of what magazines you saw that where your avarge magazines that featured the tragedy. It's about the ghostbusters being a craze or popular. Rolling Stone mad magazine gq they are all popular magazine's who need popular content and it justs so happens that the story right now is ghost and ghostbusting!!!

Now we're talking.  Try darkening the GB's a bit and see how that feels.  In fact, try making the flag a little larger and just removing the GBs all together.

I do...but not in psd. format. I usually only save the completed .jpg unless for some reason I didn't get to finish the image and need to come back to it later. Here is a varient with a larger flag, no busters and a bit more of the skyline to make up for lost coverage by the guys, again, just a resized version, not full:

Damn, that cover is great.  I'll definitely use that one.   Change the headline under triumph to "An inside look at the disaster that nearly ended the world...and the heroes who saved the day".

So for future reference, ALWAYS save your.psd files as well.
