You guys like seeing me get my hand cut off?

I'd prefer your head, but I can live with it.

No, I'm not a sadistic bastard...

I was expecting a more... devilish Santa. But funny and entertaining. Not your best, Hank. But hilarious and stupid, at the same time.

Well I certainly hope it's not my best!  Otherwise, I could have quit a decade ago!

That is a very funny movie. A "school project"? I guess it was for your german class. I was very suprised to hear it.
That make this  movie a lot more special to me. "Santa, es ist du!" "Nein, es war mir." ROFL.
Great work. Have you ever thought about a German synchronisation of your other movies?

PS: I did not mean to offend anyone. My Englisch is probably as bad as your German.

Let me tell yous guys the way it used to be with editing.  I had a cd player that went into one channel of the audio, and the other had the audio from the first vcr.  Without digital editing, there was no way for me to edit the music or cue it before hand.  I had to play the entire movie, and just hit play on the cd player when it was at the point in the film where I wanted it.  I basically had to edit everything on the fly.  It was a very difficult and time consuming process.  Anyone who has edited this way will tell you.

First edited video using the same method (1988) - but this was recut at a later date (2005) - but same VHS quality

Working with the above method really gives you an excellent idea of pushing clips together to model the storyline.  And, ultimately, makes you a stronger story-teller.
