Hank,

I have a question. Although it hasn't been a problem from what I can tell...yet. Thre has been an increasing amount of spam bots on fellow message boards and on the net in general. Does this site have a certain block against that or do you have a way you plan to take care of it when the problem arises. Although not a huge deal, it can often cause a comotion. I asked because a newer member name just seemed really generic, moviedudedvd. If I'm wrong about this particular member than I apologize...but it is an issue that should be thought about.

The admins and mods usually take care of these on their own. If you do happen to see a spam bot, just report the message and we'll delete them.

Simple enough...just a thought.

It's cool--thanks for taking the time to bring it to our attention.

Fortunately for us, the board has only been attacked a couple times in the past.  You guys remember that time the dude from Turkey hacked the site?

Here at the braxtanFilm forums, there is no need for those new fangled, spam filter thingies.  We do it the Old Fashioned, Moderator way.

Props to you guys for that BTW, because spam filters always end up missing stuff anyway, so, you end up deleting junk posts from spam bots regardless...
