If you want anyone to take your film seriously (especially around here) you need to satisfy certain criteria.  Make your first post count if you want any real feedback.

Title:  If "VS" is in the title, it's a knock against you.

Short summary:  This should be less than three sentences.

Runtime:  Either estimated, or actual (depending on if the movie is done or not).

Script progress:  Should be at least half way there.  Also post how long you intend it to be and why it needs to be that long.  What do you have to tell people that requires a 75 page script?  Why would people watch something that long?

Technicals:  How do you plan to shoot this?  On your uncle's 8mm camera?  What kind of equipment do you have access to?  Who is going to act in it?  How are you going to convince people to work on it?

Capital:  How will you finance this movie?  Does it even need financing?

Plans:  Theatrical release?  Get it on IMDb?  Or just show it at a neighborhood BBQ?

If you can post any stills, screenshots, pics of props/actors/equipment, a trailer, or even better yet--the actual finished film, all the better.  If you satisfy these questions in your first post, your thread will have better legs.

This will cut down on half of the entries thus far...

...gotta try harder people.  You know who you are.  The rest, keep up the good work.

Why are you getting on to Hank?  Weiss has been giving honest feedback since he has been here.  Yet everyone gets mad when he does this, and they ignore him.  But when Hank gives honest feedback and a lists a criteria for it...its all good?

Where's the love for the BraxtanFILM badass? huh

Probably because my critiques are void of personal attacks and negativity.

I completely agree with everything on that list except the vs part. As someone who made a versus movie, I dont think its fair to automatically assume its stupid. I had a character from an actual movie fighting an original character, I do see where your coming from with that rule though, because stuff like Jason vs Chucky or Freddy vs Vader comes up once in awhile and its REALLY a shitty idea.

It's kind of a joke...but at the same time it's true.  I made a VS movie more than two years ago when it was still a relatively new concept.  Since then, I have seen about 500 VS movie ideas...and probably 2 of them got finished.

Well why not? that kind of fight was the only good scene in anchorman except for Jack Black punting the dog off the bridge.
