Action Comics GB4

Hey Everyone,
Seeing that there is a section devoted to fan films, I thought I'd share with you my latest Ghostbusters movie. Its entitled Action Comics Ghostbusters 4. (Its the 4th in our series).
There are certainly flaws in the movie--but I set out what I accomplished and that was to improve as much as possible from our past movies. (You can check out our GB2 and GB3 on our website)
Anyway, let me know what you think and enjoy!

I've seen all three of these, I think. Some of the effects aren't the best, but everyone needs to keep in mind that effects are there to help tell the story, not be the story.
These dudes have been at it as long as I can remember.

Yeah, you cant really rely on fx. They have awesome locations, and better camera quality then I'll ever have...for a while anyway.....I've seen them all, and all I can say is thank you for contributing to the small precentage of fan films that are Ghostbusters related.

I agree that we certainly do not have the best effects. But on the bright side, we've improved our effects for each movie. However, we do have a line in our GB4 that makes fun of the streams. In our montage sequence, the the Ghostbusters do a really cheesy commercial in which Winston shoots at a plastic bag ghost and a red line forms for the stream. Immediatly after, Egon says to Ray off to the side, "The Fans are no going to like those effects."
Same with the uniforms we have, Winston says, "These aren't movie acurate."
But we did have a good time making this film, but it was a lot of head ache and I learned a lot. I can only imagine how much work it must be to make a film as complicated as Freddy vs. Ghostbusters and Return of the Ghostbusters. I wrote GB4 in the summer of 2004 and was not finished with it until this March of 06'.
Also, we have a very quick Freddy vs. Ghostbusters reference in our montage.
Thanks for the responses!

Indeed. With "Generation". I'm learning the hard way.
Either way, GB4 is one of the more fun fan films I've seen. I just enjoy what you guys had to offer and I got a good kick out of it! I hope for a GB5!

GB5...not for a while....
One day maybe.
Btw....GB: Generation looks really cool too.
I've been reading all the boards here at Braxtanfilm.com but only just registered. So I've been keeping up to date.

No, we have 4 original stories. Our first one(GB1), was just me and my friend filming a cheesy day as Ray and Venkman. It wasn't too good.
Then for GB2 and 3, we really planned out the movies and put quite a lot of effort in. While they have their problems, (effects, script, etc.) they are watchable...for me at least.
And for GB4, we went all out. I spent 8 months on filming and making the movie. We filmed the final scene in New York.
So we never re-made the first 2 movies. Our movies are just our own stories using Ray, Egon, Winston, and Pete.
