"Return of the Ghostbusters" is now over 70% shot, with all the most complicated work out of the way. Since January, on off days and weekends, we've shot over 50 pages of a 73 page script. Only 15 minor scenes remain. Expect a teaser in the next week, and a full blown trailer by the end of summer. Yesterday we bid a fond farewell to Joel Hanson, who plays Pavel Karnov (far left of picture) in the film. With his final scene shot on June 3rd, he is off to South Dakota to work for the Discovery Channel. We wish him the best of luck ,and will see him back in Denver for the film's premiere on the big screen.

Also take note that I've updated all the downloads on the site. Every film is now available both in Windows Media as well as QuickTime files. Files are zipped so you'll have no problems downloading the whole thing.

You know what kicks ass? Video ipods, that's what. They can now kick even more ass because I've opened up a portion of the downloads section dedicated to this format. Every BraxtanFILM will be made available for this device within the next week. This format should also work fine with other handheld devices such as Sony PSP.

Most impressive.  Where you intend on premiering the film?

There's two theaters in Denver that already want to play it, but we're close to premiering it at the Mayan Theater.  If all goes well, it should be completely free to everyone.  I'll try and post a release date two months out so people can attend if they wish.

Wanting to play a fan film?  You must have impressed them!  Did you set up a meeting with these two theaters and showed them demo material or is it a connection?

Get me in touch with some theaters I'll see what I can do.

Although you should probably expect the best I can do over the phone is get them to "rent" the theater to themselves and then charge at the door.

I know a theatre where I'm at that can show it if I set up an appointment date with them.
