This is my new fan film and here is the synopsis. Jason is resurrected by his mother to kill a group of teens on a Friday night. Jaosn sneaks into their house and kills them one by one. Then, Rose, a girl who has read the legends about Crystal Lake and Jason and his mother, thinks she can take Jason on. She has the brains. She has the skills. Can she destory the memory of Jason and his mother forever. The official site can be seen by looking at the link below:

It's hollywood and there only making part 11 not twelve unless you're counting freddy vs. jason but that one doesn't count in the jason franchise as friday the 13th part 11.

OH. Well it'd be part 8 in the nightmare series.  Freddy's the man.

Godzilla's enemies were only created for his movies though, they werent separate entities that were incorporated. Even Robert Englund said that Freddy vs jason wasnt part of either series, that doesnt mean that they dont count, it just means its not a sequal to either movie series.

Versus movies DON'T count unless the movies are calles something like

"A Nightmare on Elm st 3: The WET dream masters"

Because then you would have this:

A Nightmare on Elm St 7 : Freddy Vs. Jason

A Nightmare on Elm St 8 : Freddy Vs. The Ghostbusters?

Freddy vs Jason is counted as an original Friday the 13th film and an official Nightmare on elmstreet film. So they do count. The creators/owners of the licence said so themselves, and only they can be right about it. It;s how the world works.

Jason's mother comes back as a ghost, not as a human. then, she disappears and controls Jason to kill the teens. she's not as a zombie for somethin, just a ghost. but it'll be awesome. i'm gonna make this the biggest fan film im ever gonna make.

itll have real classic friday the 13th terror and suspense. as for the versus movie being part of the entire franchise, they do count as sequels because it has that specific characters which is part of another series in a movie. that movie is a part in the character's life, so it does count.

One would only hope they knew what they were talking about, but based on the movie they obviously didn' know what that were doing.

Still it was called Freddy Vs. Jason.

Not Nightmare on Elm st Vs. Friday the 13th
With the exception of Jason X

I didn;t say I agree with them. But statistically it IS a official part in both series.

i still stand by my statement. versus films are parts of the actual series because they are a chapter in their lives. as freddy vs. jason is a part of both Jason and Freddy's life. so, its a sequel for both franchises.
