Yeah, this guy certainly isn't the first.
It's kind of disturbing that he claims to have sold hundreds of these things. What pisses me off is how I'm willing to go out of my way to get people a DVD, and they turn around and profit from it.

I think Adobe Encore DVD has a feature to put a code on the disk...making it un-copy-able.
Or you could tag the DVDs you send out with a hidden feature or number...so that when ever these "bootlegs" show up. You will know who is selling them. And since you know who is selling them, you probably know where they live...(since they had to send you their address for the DVDs)...so you can shoe them in the nuts!
All joking aside...this kind of thing was funny in the beginning...(remember how everyone here laughed at that ebayer who was like paying 15 dollars for a D/Led FvsGB DVD on ebay?). But if this guy SAYS he's sold over a hundred...basically he's letting you sweat, slave your ass off for your movies while he just...sits back and sells them behind your back.

This sort of thing is getting kinda rife on Ebay, have you thought of looking for any of your other films? We've got a saying over here in england for this type of guy... "what a WANKER!"
Good luck with the second ghostbusters film, I've done some acting myself and been in a few BBC shows... so if a plane ticket arrives in the post...
Good luck!

That and there is no English side!
I do send a lot of DVDs to all of Europe, though. Mainly the UK and Germany.

Hank, in the movies, you should have a chracter say in the movie or before this movie was made by you and is only sold through you or something like that.

I think I'd be more up set about this guy if he were making money of my sweat and blood. I'd sue him for it and give the proceeds to help monkeys. Or more films. Maybe you could make a film about monkeys. Just a thought.

lol.
And what was the funny part here? Sorry m8 but you keep posting stupid little comments with NO meaning. Seriously!!! I know this has nothing to do with the thread, but I just couldnt hold it back after seeing it again and again.. I could be more direct, but i am trying to keep a sober tone here. So ... if you dont have anything interesting to add - dont! And dont I remember some new thread from an administrator recently on this particular subject??
Regarding the subject of this thread. Yeah it sucks that someone is taking advantage of it - especially in an economically kind of way. But as long as Hank denies to have anything to do with it, he wont be in trouble. And it is publicity I guess.

Okay if I was following the thread correctly
Quote from: welllookeyhere

to which hank replied

That and there is no English side!
and Gbfan1 found this in some way vaguely amusing and decided to reply with an lol this has nothing to do with the actual thread of this posting just a side bar conversation. You're right there's nothing funny about some dipshit making money off of Hanks work and I do remember a posting not that long ago in the announcements section that was something like this
Quote from: braxtanFILM
I'm sick of people replying to EVERY thread with pointless comments such as LOL, or
I realize you like the films, and that you want to help, but you need to stop spamming the message boards. Adding a comment for the sheer sake of posting is getting on my nerves and driving others from the boards.
If you feel the need to post, it better be something valid. SPAMMING will result in a BAN from the boards. Also, there are a few of you who seem to follow some members from one thread to the next, insulting them at every turn. This WILL NO LONGER BE TOLERATED. If I see any more of this, your IP address will be PERMANENTLY banned. We don't need members who do not contribute.
Thank you.

An occasional lol here or there when warranted is okay. The problem is, SOME people go through and do it literally on EVERY thread, just to get a post count. If this continues, I'm going to increase the amount of time you have to wait between posts.
