Now this is how the whole ordeal is going to work – we’ll contend with business through PM, you can ask questions here on the thread if you want. If you prefer to do things by email, email address is ark_of_chaos@bak.rr.com. Please put “ROTGB DVD” as the subject title of the email. As you understand, I CANNOT charge a fee for these DVDs. But I will have you pay for postage only, which will be $1.88. Also I require you to send your own DVD+R, I've been using Sony, so I would feel more comfortable if you get that brand. I'm sure others would work, but hey, rather be safe than sorry. You will receive the DVD with a case and cover art. The cover art I used on my own copy is this - I'm pretty the $1.88 thing is still a problem. You can probably get away with asking people to send you a self-addressed-stamped-envelope and the blank dvd. But if ANY money exchanges hands (regardless of whether you're technically not profiting) then there's a problem.

And now it's my turn to plug a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7gn33maTjQ We shot it waaaaaay back in like April & May, and it kinda sat on my hard drive for 6 months. It was really just a test more or less, I had never shot anything in a moving vehicle (and plan on never doing it again) and it was my first time working with a bunch of new people. Also it stayed unreleased for so long because of a less than a second shot, it was my first attempt at a reverse shot and I didn't think it out too well...so it looks terrible (it was really hot too so I was like "let's just get it done").

Funnily enough, I think that is the smallest of the blood effects. (And by effects I mean throwing cups of blood) And it's about 4 frames away from splashing up against that wall behind him.

I'm still in College so Facebook is pretty much a prerequisite. I started doing Twitter, but I really don't have a legitimate reason for updating it as much as I do. Probably about 30 of my followers are actual people, and then probably about 10 actually check the thing anymore.
It probably has to do with that I have relatives and people I went to church with on Facebook so I do what I can to keep it "clean", while on Twitter I can say whatever I want. Which is why my twitter posts are probably 90x funnier than anything I say there.

I have no idea who should play the Joker in future Batman movies. But at the same time, I do feel that Nolan should recast the part. I mean in the comics the Joker's appearance and personality have radically changed over the years, so it does kinda fit in that context. That and I think the role is much larger than one actor. I would really like to sit down with those guys and just hear what they had planned for the Joker were Heath still alive. It had to have been something incredible that will never be fully imagined now.

If anybody cares, the video did actually get into the Festival. (Granted I have a feeling we didn't have to try too hard to get in)
The place also announced a Horror themed Sweded Film Festival for Halloween. I may make something for that, I'm just not finding any horror movie that just screams to me.

So in my hometown there's going to be a "Sweded Film Festival" in August. So I got a bunch of my old acting buddies together and in just under 5 hours shot a 5 minute remake of Reservoir Dogs. It's nearly complete. The deadline to enter is the 1st. But I am completely free Tuesday, so I will make sure it's done by then and online by Wednesday. Just a taste:

It's one thing to do improv as part of like an acting class. It's another to say "hey pay $5 to watch me and some friends of mine who aren't good enough to get into a real play just make it up as we go along".
Really? You couldn't just write a one-act play about a barber and his hair-eating-man-child-lover? You have to make it up as you go along? I mean when they come out and say "I will doing this, and he will be doing this" then they definitely put some thought into where these "scenes" could go. So why not just write it?
My apologies to anybody who might be in an improv troupe, but prove me wrong.

Saw a couple where they really trashed the acting, but I more or less meant that even though there is a feature length Ghostbusters fan film made by professionals and made with great participation from the fan community out there... a half an hour action scene with sub-par fx is hailed as "the best gb fan film ever" and that it "is the only one out there to recapture the essence of the original movies".

http://ghostbustersnews.com/?p=1762So these guys made a fanfilm. It's not half bad, it's pretty well shot. You can tell that the FX weren't farmed out to the best guys. And it's essentially one 30 minute long bust scene. But definitely a good motivator (more on that later). But I bring this up mostly because MAN did most of the GB forums just turn on ROTG! (Oddly enough, not FVJ)
