Call it faith, call it luck, call it Karma...for whatever reason, Return of the Ghostbusters has skyrocketed to the top (or close to it) of the IMDb Star Meter.  It currently sits at #277, which is a feat unimaginable for a fan film. In fact, after doing a bit of research, I'm fairly certain it's the highest any fan film has ever risen on said chart.

It was probably a perfect storm of events that made this possible.  With the recent release of the video game, the blu ray of Ghostbusters, and the public awareness of the intent to finally bring Ghostbusters 3 to the big screen, it was a great time for people to see a link called Return of the Ghostbusters, and think to themselves "WTF?!".

Speaking of the video game, some of the game's developers are completely awesome.  And they thought enough of Return to put a nice little cameo in the game.

I cannot thank everyone invloved enough--from the cast and crew of the film, to all the fans who supported us throughout the lengthy process. It's been quite a journey.  I've never been a part of a project that meant so much to so many people...and I may never be again.
