Dummy's Luck (2004)

This short makes BraxtanFILM legit. It’s actually the first movie I’ve directed on film. It was shot on super 16mm for a film class I took at the Colorado Film School in Denver , Colorado . I’m really pleased with the way this came out, and it’s because of the hard work put in by everybody in the class/crew. Although we kind of got shorted on the film—the daylight film we received had edge fog on it (flashing red to the right of the frame), and was about 100 feet less than what we were told we had. We were given about two weeks to write the script and produce the film, so we shot most of it on a set to save time. This was one of the most enjoyable times I’ve had on any set.
